Though mainly a university town, the rich history and breathtaking architecture is sure to draw out strong emotions from many travellers. Holy Processions week is captivating and the Christmas nativity scene, featuring figures by Francisco Salzillo, Murcia's famed sculptor, are a sight you'll never forget.
