Short Guide to Jordan
Jordan is a small and friendly country situated in the Middle East and bordering the countries of Saudi Arabia, Israel and Iraq. Medical hospitals and facilities in Jordan are of an adequate standard. The tipping culture in the country is similar to anywhere else in the world. A service charge of about ten per cent is automatically added on in the more established hotels and restaurants, otherwise, a ten per cent tip is sufficient. It is also customary when taking a taxi to round up the overall price of the bill instead of adding on a slight tip.
