Shahab Siddiqui conceived and developed the idea for FlightsFinder.com in 2008 from a hospital bed. After being diagnosed with kidney failure he was confined to a dialysis machine 3 times a week. This severely affected his ability to undertake one of his greatest passions - to travel.

He soon discovered that for a trip abroad he would have to arrange dialysis there which would add a large cost to the already expensive flight and accommodation.

This reality forced Shahab to be particularly frugal when searching for flights online and he soon struck upon a technique that managed to save him the most money.

Meta-Meta search he concluded - was the best way to get the best price, i.e Searching multiple comparison engines whilst also comparing multiple flexible date calendars. He realised such a site which undertook such a search did not exist so set about developing one to be of service to himself and other travellers who were budget conscious.
